What is some of your unique mounts or ideas? Besides the standard full strut / full body flying mounts. I am looking for something with a little smaller profile. I like some of the pictures I have seen with the wings and fan flared out with the beard on a plaque. I was also thinking of doing like a "shoulder" mount from the wing socket forward.

The 2 I hav are standard - full strut on limb and one standing normal

I hav seen some hanging - my buddy had one hanging on a fence post w barb wire wrapped around legs - was a neat mount - I want to do a hanging mount similar like it is naturally hanging after a kill

Cheaper budget I hav fanned out the fan and cured it then I take the legs and try to hav them stand up straight against a wall and put something heavy on them - they will firm up over time and what I am trying to do is get them to stand Up on there own. I hav ordered peace’s of wood I can put on wall - set feet in front of the fan and hang shell w beard down thru a shell - hav it on a wall on that board/wood - looks decent

I have a hanging-dead mount that I really like. I got that one mounted because he was banded. I doubt I will ever kill another banded gobbler. I don't like full strut mounts, but I did have one mounted that was half strutting on a limb and gobbling that was well done. Unfortunately, it fell and broke when we moved. Another mount that I like that isn't really a traditional one is where the gobbler is standing, one foot forward, and looking with his head up.

One of mine is kind of like the last one u described - I also think I would like the half strut gobble on a limb and started to do that but opted for strutter on limb and I like that one - mine luckily hav survived sev moves

W the spots I got - one bird killed a year would b good for me - if I get another stud - think I gone do the hangin mount

I used to work for him. He did the mount and I did the wood.

I’ve threatened to cut the feet and beard off that mount. Mounts take up too much room. I wish someone would would come get the thing and take it to a store or something.

If you find someone headed that way with room you can sure have it.
