My son got antlerless youth weekend at Cedar Creek. Maybe he’ll actually see a deer youth weekend; never has at the farm. If anyone has been before, I’d love to hear how they run the hunt for youth He will be spoiled after hunting there.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

did not get selected. will see what the wife did when I get home. Well Mrs. Bamaeyedoc got chosen as alternate for 3 hunts at Thigpen Hill. Serious question. If she picks one and DOES NOT get upgraded as hunter, will she lose her preference points?

I drew Oak Mountain for 12-19. Not a bad time I guess, but have heard mixed reviews about it. I saw four good bucks there in one morning last year. When you figure out what unit you have send me a PM

When you figure out what unit you have send me a PM I saw 22 deer in 4 days in my unit. There was absolutely zero cover when elevated and would have hunted from the ground the entire time. Some units are thicker.

I got uchee creek soa on 1-19. Don’t know nothing about it or where it’s at but it will be a good time for sure. Will have to find somewhere to stay close by. You will be closest to auburn or Columbus we stayed in Columbus last year. Good drive but cheapest hotel not in a bad area we found.

No. I think one deer was killed the entire week by all hunters.
