Got confirmation today. Will be having it scoped on 16th. May be hobbling on crutches opening weekend but that’s as soon as I could get it scheduled.

You most likely won’t be on crutches.

I'm hoping that's the case.

Last 3 scopes I had I wasn’t on crutches. I was for the two ACL surgeries. My first scope was in 2007 and I was on crutches for maybe 3 or 4 days. Where are you having it done?

Shoot. You should be good to go by Christmas! Might need to limit the walking but gotta rehab and walk somewhere. Might as well be on some land lol.

Dugas did my scope back in June and I’ve been happy. I didn’t even use crutches walking out the day of surgery. He said it’s “as needed for a day or two”. 6 weeks of therapy and taking it easy and you’ll be back at it.

I’m gonna do some PT between now and surgery day just to see if that will help or prevent surgery.

I’m a firm believer in Pre-Op PT, with a QUALITY Physical Therapist.
I’ve seen young and old, do or not do. Every time to my knowledge, (even if surgery is ultimately needed) the Pre-Op PT helps a bunch. Might reduce or eliminate surgery.

Once myself and my Rheumatologist were convinced I had a torn rotator cuff, but tried PT first.
Came to find out, a muscle that connects right below my shoulder blade and center of shoulder was damaged. PT fixed me right up.

I had the clip and zip n clean out several years ago. They knee was not a problem after a few days. What was a giant problem is that someone over-clamped my leg, above the knee. This is done in surgery to keep it real still. My whole leg from the knee up to my thigh was purple and blue. On a return apointment I asked the doc WTH? He looked and said it had been over-clamped. The knee felt great after a few days but my leg up above hurt like hell for several weeks. It stayed black and blue/purple for a month or so. I was not a happy camper.
