I went to the farm and forgot my food bag. I had some pork chops and hot dogs in the cooler, but nothing in the way of bread or fruits or vegetables. I could have gone to Selma and bought stuff, but I decided I could survive for 2.5 days with what I had.

I had some regular flour, and I had a dozen eggs. No milk or yeast, but I had a box of baking soda. No oven, but I had a microwave. So I made a batter of flour, baking soda, salt and an egg. Stirred it up good, but still not enough moisture so I added some water and that made it into a batter. I poured it into a plastic bowl and gave it 90 seconds in the microwave. It rose and looked like bread. It wasn't shaped like a hotdog bun, but that was no issue.

It was actually decent bread, though it was a lot heavier than any bread you buy in the store. I caught some fish and had fish sandwiches for another meal.
