Does anyone use these out of a shooting house? Looking at getting one for my son, but didn't know if they would take up too much room in a 4x4 or 4x6 shooting house. I assume they would be good for ground blind, but we only have one we hunt out of.

It can be done but it’s aggravating.

I had never used one until I went to MO a few weeks ago. I still can’t hold up a crossbow for more than a few seconds because of my string of shoulder surgeries. That BOG pod was amazing. Rock solid rest. I don’t know how well it would work in a shooting house but the legs are infinitely adjustable

Has anyone used the chair with the death grip attached to it? Is the seat height adjustable? Looks like more of a hassle to move but if the seat would raise up for a kid look like it would be jam up.

Do it all the time depending on how big the shooting house is you may have to get a lil creative but I don't see me not using it
My lil shooting house is 4x5 and I use in there with 2 people in it.
Now if you planning on having to adjust to a different window and whack one well they ain't the best option but if you shooting out the front it will work fine.
I get mine set up and my rifle put on it so all I have to do is get in the rifle and shoot

I use a tripod with the kids and put a hog saddle on it (ARCA base screws into the bottom of the Hog Saddle) for any gun that doesn't have an ARCA rail. I've tried the BH-55 ballhead, the TA-2U leveling base, and the Anvil 30. By far the easiest to manipulate is the Anvil 30. Use any chair you want, at any height you want, even on uneven terrain.

I can't speak for shooting houses, but I purchased one this weekend for sitting on the ground hunting a powerline, and it is deadly. Depending on what style chairs you have in the house, I think you could make it work.

It'll work and it's worth every penny for a kid shooting

I have the one that has 3 settings. 20 - 45 - 85. The 20 degree wouldn’t be a problem in a shooting house.

I think I want one for myself... I am still against 5 year olds shooting deer with tripods if it removes the recoil... but I am starting to get a little more open minded on the topic. This would be a great training aid to teach kids how to use a scope... what it should look like.

I have the deathgrip and have really liked it. Haven’t used it in a shooting house but have a in a ground blind and it wasnt bad. Very solid and worth the money in my opinion.

Love mine I'll use a trigger stick under the stock and it's very stable

I’ve pondered the same question for taking my 7 year old nephew hunting. I saw a video on social media with a phone adapter on the scope so the kid and the adult could both see to aim.

You can set it up in most shooting houses but adjusting the angle of the legs. Bought if for my son last year when he was 6 and has killed two deer since using it and his 300 blk. I don't leave the house without it even if he's not with me. One of the best hunting purchases I've made in a long time.

Took it today for the 1st time and it works great. Was in a relatively small shooting house and still had room for it. All we were missing was a buck to shoot
