Alls i know is, ifn it that had been Bama that lost their championship game last night and not TCU, folks wouldn't be being so NICE and that's a fact...

Most of us understand this team is not championship caliber this year simply by watching their performance week in and week out. You and I may have watched two different teams this year if you think Bama is a top 4 team. I watched the Georgia/LSU game and that Georgia team is what Bama USED to be at the height of the run. Not that we can get that edge back. Can you honestly say you watched this team play this year, and still, with a straight face, say “Bama is one of the top four teams in the country”? Oftentimes it’s hard to take the crimson glasses off, but you have to be objective.
One one thing that COULD have helped, is a really good win, and that just didn’t happen this year.

Yeah I can honestly say we’re better than TCU. That puts us in the top 4. Ask yourself, if Bama played a Big 12 schedule would they be undefeated?

Bama sucked for Bama standards but still top 4 cause everyone else sucked too. MI and GA are the only 2 good teams. Never that I can recall did losing a conference championship game not cause a team to drop a spot or two at least so I can call it garbage by the committee but don't really care.

Top 4 should be Georgia, TCU, Michigan, and THE NOLES!!!

Can you though? Based on what? We are Bama and they are TCU? Just name recognition and history alone? Resume? People saying this aren’t looking at it objectively. They beat a common opponent, at Texas, worse than we did AND Texas had their starting QB healthy for that game. I couldn’t tell you if we are better than another team or not, if we didn’t go head to head. I don’t know how anyone else can either.

And no, I don’t think we would have gone undefeated in the BigXII either. Can’t base it on perceived talent and preseason expectations.
The only Saban coached Alabama team that would have lost to this 2022 team, would have been one of the teams in his first two years at the helm. All the others would wipe the floor with this bunch. Is that a fair statement?

Look we can all argue this and that but it’s not going to solve anything. This team is not top four and it will show when we play in the bowl game and either squeak by, or get beat. Bama had its chance to do it on the field, where it matters, and didn’t get it done, period.

I hope they learn from the mistakes of poor coaching and game prep, extremely soft strength and conditioning program, poor line play in both sides of the ball, inability for receivers to get separation and horrible LB play at point of attack.

Probably/maybe….. also consider the rest of the country has had Bama fatigue for about 14 years….

Bama will curb stomp K. State by at least 3 touchdowns..........

I don't think Bama ‘deserved’ to be in, with two losses….IF we’re only going to factor in wins/losses and not all the other logical takeaways…..but I don’t think TCU deserves to be in even the top 6…with one loss and 3-4 squeakers against mediocre big 12 teams. There’s probably 10 teams or more in the current rankings that would beat TCU…..then again, there’s 5-6 that would beat the suckeyes, as well. Get the best 4 teams in….that’s what they’ve preached on the committee, since it started. Epic fail on that, IMO.

The committee and ESPN ( Heather Denich) especially, love Ohio , all season long it was how Ohio was.the most complete team, like every year .They wanted so bad to put them at the number 1spot. So I hope TCU beats Michigan and Georgia completely destroys Ohio and exposes the Big 10.

With no Bryce or will Anderson and who knows who else k state might have a better chance than people think

If the same Milroe QB that shows up to play that played earlier in the season trots out there, K State stands a REALLY good chance of pulling this off. Be interring to see if Ty Simpson gets a shot.

If Milton does trot out there to be the starting QB hopefully Bill O’Brien will utilize Milroe’s legs and play to his strengths. I will not hold my breath on Bill O’Brien having any imagination though and utilizing the offensive talent He has in the right ways.

I, for one, can’t wait until it’s a 12 team selection. I think everyone will be surprised at how well it works. No complaints out of pee wee players, high school players or any of the other levels that use a large playoff system

It'll be ok, but I can't say I'm a fan of the top 4 seeds (with byes) having to be conference champs.

If the 12 team playoff started this year, the top 4 seeds who would get the first round byes would be UGA, Michigan, two-loss Clemson, and three-loss Utah...in that order.
