Can anyone on here comment on the effectiveness of Tikka's factory brake on the T3X model in 300 win?
Specifically looking at: 1. How well it manages recoil (vs other aftermarket brakes) 2. How well it handles blowback 3. How good/bad dust kick-up is when shooting prone
Bought one of these last week with a threaded muzzle, but no brake. Wondering if I can just go with the Tikka stock brake or get something else either aftermarket or custom.
Pics to follow. Will be putting a Burris XTR-II in 5-25x50 on it that I had not being used.
Appreciate any input.
Professional Smart Alec
