I just got the email I've been upgraded to hunter from alternate Jan 12-15. It's an archery Hunt on section 15 and I will be going in blind, any info would be appreciated. Is there any RV parks or hotels nearby that anybody has stayed in?

I’ve hunted it a couple years ago. Just pm me. I stayed in Jackson with a cousin.

You can camp at the warden station if you want which what I did a few years ago. Jackson is about 20 min drive and there are several hotels there. I stayed at Hampton Inn this year when I hunted Upper State and its good just pricey.

Hampton Inn or the Best Western. We were guests on a youth hunt and couldn't get the Hampton. Booked two rooms at the Best Western and they were very clean. Actually better than Hampton, as we could park by the door and bring in our gear without traipsing all around with a luggage cart and it's single story so no running around and stomping from the floor above. Much better price too.

In addition, allow 30 minutes for driving in the event of fog. Nothing is open real early for breakfast except Hardees.

Jake, I have a hunt there from Jan 26-29 in section 12. I rented a airbnb in Jackson for 395$ for the whole stay. I’m sure it’s cheaper and much more convenient than a hotel. May be something you want to check.

There’s cabins at Saint Stephen’s Jake if the Best Western and Hampton Inn is full. BTW the Best Western is the best hotel in Jackson.
