A buddy got drawn for next weeks hunt, after lots of walking we found zero scrapes, rubs or droppings. Scouted the south end and the north end and found nothing promising. Anyone ever hunt this zone got any tips? Thanks

I hear there's a lot of big bucks in the mountainous regions of Pelham, Alabama.

Only in the big pen.

U got a map of the zones? I’ve hunted the park before but it was back when u could hunt the whole thing for a week day or 2 throughout the year. I know a couple places u stand a chance. In those wide opens woods, if there’s not a saddle or some sort of pinch point, it’s tough.

As mentioned saddles and ridges are your go to areas in Oak Mountain. It's one of my favorite places to hunt
