Looks like they are gonna make a new climber. I can’t wait to see it reviewed and demonstration. Sub 15# climber that folds flat. She gonna cost a pretty penny or 3. But, I think the summit stands are over 500 $ now and weigh 30 ish pounds.
I think I logged almost 5 miles (~800 ft elevation gain)yesterday at skyline with just an old hand climber seat so I didn’t have to sit on the wet ground or a rock. A light weight climber would be awesome!

Way back when my shoulders would allow me to use a climber and draw a bow, I had a Hoyt Heat with a Super Slam riser that would shoot broadheads at 320 fps and a Lone Wolf climber. Killed a bunch of deer.

Way too small for me now.

I like the looks of the xop and price but advertised weight of 22# is a no go for me.

It won't help a bowhunter but there plenty of sub-15# Tomcats still around.

They have prebuy open now. Seems a bit pricey but may very well be worthy.
I’m on the fence, would like to climb with one first.

I’m all for light and portable, but Dang For 999$ you’d think they could put a comfortable seat on it.

I have an XOP climber, it might not be that one, but it looks just like it. Let me just tell ya, its nice that it folds flat for packing in, and I can set it up quickly. It goes up a tree quiet too. And that's where the good ends.

There is just not enough room off the base of the tree to be able to sit anyway but bolt upright. I put a hazemore seat for a Lone Wolf on it too, it sucked as well. And its a pita to get to fold back down.

Now if you buy a summit, the regular viper is to short too. You have to upgrade to a Titan or whatever the bigger one is.

No doubt it’s expensive , but if you just did 20 climbs and walked up and down some of the elevation I do, the weight to dollar ratio will meet somewhere on that bell curve that might make it tolerable.

Agree, I don’t think it will sit anywhere near as comfortable as a summit. I want to sit in one .
