Quick tip that may help...I got a taran tactical reduced trigger spring that I put in my franchi that brought the pull down to about 3lbs from the stock which I think is around 9...really enjoy it. You may be able to do the same and it only is $20 after shipping etc

Mine patterns Apex really well through a Jebs Headhunter. Itās currently relegated to backup/loaner duty. It would be my main gun but I just love my old Winchester 1300 too much to put it down.
If the 3020 was a dedicated turkey gun Iād probably have the barrel cut down to 22ā(ish) but since itās also my main wing shooting gun Iām leaving it at 26ā
There are 3 certainties in an uncertain world:
1. All Politicians Are Liars 2. All Gun Laws Are an Infringement 3. Taxation Is Theft

Ive been totting a Winchester 1300 NWTF around these hills and hollows since 1987! I know what you mean.
The world and all its beauty is best seen through the eyes of a hunter.
