Make this short I’m looking for someone who might be interested in learning me how to hunt turkeys. I have access to land in West Central Alabama, cabin for lodging, and turkeys. I have never hunted them in my 47 years have just had my interest sparked watching them all deer season. Shoot me a PM if you might be interested.

I'll save you the heartache now. Dont do it. You will be tired, broke, hungry and possibly divorced. Your first hunt will be awesome. He will gobble all the way to the barrel. The next 20 hunts they will school you until you start losing your sanity. You will call and he will gobble. He will go silent so you wait and hour and stand up and he wont be there. Next hunt you will call and he will gobble then go silent. You will wait an hour and when you stand up he will be 30 yards running the other direction.
If you do decide to not take my advice. Good luck! It's the most fustrating/rewarding hunting I have experienced.

My advice is don't do it. You be better off taking up crack. At least you can go buy crack whenever you want it. Gobblers are never a sure thing. If you get off your roll, it can get ugly.

If you are determined to ruin your life, buy Kenny Morgan's book and Lovette Williams' CDs. Do your own with nothing but a gun and a call. The joy is the journey, not stacking bodies. Afterglow is great, but it's always the next one that matters.
