I have had quite a few snake boots rocky, Danner jackals, danner pronghorn, and Chippewa lace ups. The Chippewas were much heavier much better quality and construction, but not as comfortable. The pronghorn were better quality than the jackals and stayed dryer longer than the jackals and both danners were very comfortable. But The Chippewa are the only ones my foot has stayed dry in.
If you have any kind of leather treat it with mink oil, It helps tremendously with a waterproofing
I Well, the way I see it is there's just too many assholes On a good day there's a bunch of assholes in here. On a bad day there's too many assholes in here.

Ive got the Chippewa pull ons and they are as comfortable as any boot I've ever worn. This will be season 6 on them i believe. Treat them a couple times during the season and they stay dry.

Chippewa is the only snake boot I've owned that will not leak but they are pull-ons and are a pain to get on and off Need a bootjack to get those things off and at times feels like its going to dislocate a knee while doing it
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be
