Well, it was a matter of time I guess. The website had no tree stands for sale posted for a long time, now the website is gone bye bye. My order from them a year ago was a mess, but they did a super job to correct the faulty workmanship with me telling them the correct measurement, on their wheel blocks, and they did exactly what I recommended, outstanding. Still a serious issue with the cheap wheels that I fixed, still a very over priced product. My guess, the cost and lack of getting metal killed them during the shutdown. Tree Lounge went thru changes over the years improving their products (from China of all places), then came along Tree Lounger who went back to the old style stands in Georgia, all kind of noise and very heavy weight, down right stupid for modern times. Workmanship very bad. Watch some of Tree Lounge(r) videos, a mess, with beginners not knowing even how to setup the equipment correctly with a massive amount of noise. I am glad I waited for the improved mod changes over the years before buying and wound up with a great light weight setup. If a business does not improve their products with modern materials and designs, they will fail.

I'll never forget watching the Tree Lounge VHS tape with Dean Durham. He always said, "that's a buck, that's a good buck."

I have 2 tree lounges and I still hunt out of them if I want to do an all day hunt.

Did they also have the video with Mrs Margaret, “Return to Moonshine Island” I believe it was? Lady was like 80 years old it seemed at the time. That was a good VHS and she killed some nice deer. Would love to know where that VHS was shot if so.

I remember watching them years ago. They had a go devil motor to get there. One of the first surface drives I remember.

The videos are on u-tube. The return to moonshine island is in parts there also. I have it on DVD. Watch the part where she wheels the buck from the pond where the alligator almost got her. In the background, you will see a field with large round hay bales. It was not shot on an island..... The video redneck hunting club is on u-tube also (search it), where the guys wanted a female cook. Funny for sure.

Tree Lounge is a great all day stand. Level it out to around 17 degrees level (max level with the foot platform used) with the leveler or the 2 inch block. It is like laying on air with the soft chill pad. Nice for sure and a positive if one has back issues. Just don't snore too loud.

And after he shot, he would always say, let me get down and get to him. That was the first time I had ever heard of a .280 also.

I used to see them at gun shows. She would be sitting in a stand on a pole about 6 feet off the ground. They also sold the Brent Hunt whitetail hunter. I have 2 of those. A great climbing stand.

I have a nice one with the bowhunting platform and also the cushion with pillow that goes in them. You can get some good sleep in it but I havent hunted out of it in awhile.

Donnie was having a hard time getting the material for the cougar claw a while back. I've had to source supplies from some unusual places the past few years. When I was younger I always wanted a tree lounge until I used one and it slid 15 feet down a sweetgum on me. I got wedged in the foot rest and it took me 30 minutes to wiggle free. That was the last time I went up a tree without a harness too.

Safety tip: When both climbers are tight and level around the tree at the bottom of the tree, the v front bars's edge is pointing downward. Thus both edges will not bite inward toward the tree, and can slip slightly. When up a tapered tree, both climbers are at a great angle downward with the V edge pointing straight into the tree, but they are not tight hugging into the tree and are loose around the tree, thus there is no weight leverage, that your body applies, to force the bite into the tree. Thus, both climbers can give you a slow ruff ride down. If one climber does bite, it is a terrible jar to the body. Now, the safe way on a hard slick tree is keep both climbers in the middle of 0 degrees (level) and 45 degrees downward which gives both of best worlds for no slipping, even seen on the metal pole, that is why. Around 20-30 degrees angle, my TL has never slipped. Outside of that, I have had either climber slip an inch but did bite. If the foot climber slips, your weight setting down will force weight on the TL and it will likely bite hard into the tree. I cannot see a person sliding down a tree in a falling state unless both climbers broke. Please explain to me how one slides 15 feet in theory. The only way is to have the back bars so loose where both climbers pointing almost straight down, thus no weight leverage, Or so tight, the edge of the V cannot bite, I can see that happen. Otherwise, not logical. Please explain in detail for others and myself how the slide happened. There was a cause and likely a failure of the operator, wrong adjustment or no body weight applied, or broken equipment. Thank you in advance for explaining for all to learn, to slippinlipjr.

Did any of y’all use the tree nest and pillow. That was great on those cold mornings. Stay toasty warm and lay all of your junk in the nest beside you.

The tree nest was a great ideal. But one serious problem, you had to stand up and turn around to tie the nest in on one side when you reach your height shown by the Tree Lounge videos, which required a BHA (bow hunter adapter foot platform). There is a way around it but not that safe. If they could put zippers on both bottom sides where you could unzip, and stick your feet through them when mounting the stand to climb like the chill pad, then turn around and sit down at your height, then zip up the bottom sides, it would be a lot easier, safer and faster......Notice one video on u-tube, the survival guy has the black lounger with no BHA, and he has the nest. But notice he did not tie the nest in and was mixed up on what to do when starting to climb down, it gets in the way. He did not show that on screen but you could hear him on mic not knowing what to do....... Beginners should not do videos on TL products that has danger.

Warning: Tree Lounge can get you killed if used wrong. The first couple of times using the TL scared the crap out of me because you have to remember to keep a weight applied to the TL, or it can fall due to no leverage pressure against the tree if used in the advanced climbing mode. It is a different kind of animal, but once you learn how to control the savage part, it is a safe and wonderful stand esp if you have back issues. Not for beginners nor faint hearted esp standing on the foot platform (BHA). It is like standing on a bouncing diving board 3 feet away from the tree, you need good balance....... When CESSO bought the company from Bob Heiss, they made a coated cable that goes up around the tree attached to the stand when climbing to prevent the stand from falling greater than a couple of feet. Stupid people should not use the TL. Example: They mount the leveler on the bottom side of the side rails which caused the bolt heads to pull thru the back brace, a no no. Then they get lawyers and sue. On many u-tube videos, notice people have the back brace bars (tubing) mounted under the side rails also. Must read instructions people.

That bow platform was just too far away from the tree for me. Took some good naps in the stand though.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Never used one but guy in our club (several years ago) had one and you always knew we he was moving his climber around in the woods 😄

Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!
