The river is finally dropping so. Open invitation for anyone up for a little river cat fishing in the Alabama river. Might head out from lower Bryants and hit the Mobile river still not 100%.

Im getting ready to clean up the boat after a hard swamp hunting season and head out for some big cats on rod and reel. Got to order a new windshield lost half off mine on a hog hunt a few weeks ago but other than that should be ready ASAP.

All you need is a license and not be afraid of the cold and its on. If you have a couple of big rigs bring them along if not I got a few extra.

Fishing Penn GT320s with 30LB mono and 7/0 or 8/0 Gamas. No fresh shad in the river but I have a few still in the freezer.

I will be going out of Holly creek so If anyone is brave of heart drop me a line.

Its all good anyway the bite is slow and the river is still dropping.

just for yall that are interested i did catch 8. from 6 to about 18 lbs so it wasn't a complete loss.

guys I would enjoy going fishing with some of ya sometimes.Had to sell my boat this year for my daughters braces.Can't afford a guide i'm not a free loader be glad to help out on gas or something.thanks an safe fishing

I'm no guide and not looking to charge anyone anything.

If you want to go all I can say is meet me at the landing and get in the boat. If you want to chip in then bring a few cold ones or what ever you want to eat and call if good.

This pretty much goes for anyone who wants to go. Can't guarantee we will catch anything but we will be fishing.
