Do you have any room to trim your hulls prior to crimping. It could be The rolled portion of the hull expanding and hanging up could be causing the issue.
I have also had a similar issue with the same gun as yours but with low brass dove loads, the brass swelled and after it cooled a bit then I had to hit the buttstock on the ground while working the forearm slide to eject them.

I went through all my loaded shells and if they didn't fall into the barrel, I marked them and will reload them. Hoping these gaep roller will make better crimps The brand of your roller crimper isn’t the issue. I shoot handloads in my 20 and 12 ga 870s and have never had an issue. I bought the basic roller from Ballistic Products and they make great roll crimps. Good luck.

I would just throw the roll crimper in the trash and learn how to do it correctly. When they quit making commercial shotgun shells with OS Cards and Roll Crimps they told all of us that the reason was better patterns because you didn't have a foreign object in your shot string. That was heavily advertised.
That's been debated ever since. For the average Trap shooter it's not as critical their shots are all relatively close. Much closer than your average Turkey. At 50 yards then what?
You'll have a bunch of people say I'm crazy. They have patterned they gun and proved it time and time again. They'll swear by it.
But they still can't explain how having that card in their shot doesn't do anything.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Post a pick of your crimps. Could be the issue Roll crimping lowers and provides for more consistent pressures.

It’s an 870 and that’s just what they do. I’ve had 3 of em and the Supermag was by far the worse. I will say I put a lot of rounds thru them being a duck guide. I also wasn’t the most diligent gun cleaner either. It's want the 870 Express versions do. I've got a 12ga Express 3" version and it's the same way sometimes. Especially with 3" steel shot. My older 870 Wingmaster 12 & 16 gauges have never once did it.

To get back on subject, yes, my 870 12 gauge did this too. It got to be where it was almost every time I shot the gun. I would have to beat the butt stock against the ground to get the shell out of the chamber. I took a copper brush, a cordless drill, and some Kroil oil, and went to work. I sprayed the chamber and the brush liberally, then turned the brush with the drill. Nothing aggressive by any means, but enough to give it a good polish. Now the chamber looks like new money and it never hangs up at all. It runs perfect every time. This may not be your issue. Your statement about the shell not going into the chamber easily is interesting. Can you post a picture of your crimps?
That’s not a bad idea. I’ve done similar.

It looks to me like the crimper is getting too hot and melting the end of the hull and possibly mushrooming it. Seems like the only way it would get stuck in the barrel is due to swelling or something wrong in the action of the gun.

Try a q tip with just a little kroil around the end of the hull before you crimp. Then go slow and don’t apply too much pressure. You can always roll it a little more if it ain’t rolled over enough
