...To your church by you and showed up in my Jack's clothes(which I don't have) and a Maverick 88 security (the 8 shot one) how nervous would the sheeple that we all have in our lives be? I try and avoid gatherings of people inside places I'm unfamiliar with because hallways and pinch points are called bullet funnels and are good things to avoid. Yes this is all hypothetical I wouldn't show up with a shotgun but if I have clothes on I'll have my Maxpedition with me you know flashlight spare mags spare knife Bic lighter maybe a spare Dagger couple of mags on my person keys and cellphone. Cause Jesus is real but the ammo fairy isn't.
Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

Either God has this or he doesn't.
If God does have it all figured out then we are all good no matter what happens.
If God doesn't have it all figured out we are indeed living in a total shitshow.
Each one of us individually needs to figure out which "reality" we live in. The problem with human beings is that we are so full of ourselves that we feel we need to be in control of the situation all the time, but the fact is that we will never be in control, God is in control. We are NOT living in reality. We are living in a simulation created by God for what purpose God only knows. Our reality is our spirit-consciousness where we existed before we were "born" into this world and where we will return to after we "die" in this world.
Me personally... When I go to church I'm not thinking about "bullet funnels." I'm in the "God's got this" camp. And yes I have faced the barrel of a gun pointed at me on more than one occasion, but that was not my appointed time. When it is our appointed time to die it won't matter if we are packing a 40 caliber. God is bigger than a 40 caliber.
I can guarantee you, God has a plan for all of us and that plan does not include living in fear all the time.
Well stated!!!!

Multiple mags, multiple knives, multiple daggers…sounds like a weirdo looking for a place to commit a violent crime. Oh everyone let’s welcome our new guest, Mr. Stranger. He’s right there in the back, he’s the one that is scared of crowds of people gathered inside, he doesn’t walk down hallways because they’re “bullet funnels”. He’s the one with a gun, multiple knives and multiple daggers. 🙄

Spot on Irish. God is an all knowing God. God knew us before we were conceived. We are like batteries, we have an expiration date and GOD KNOWS OUR EXPIRATION DATE BEFORE WE ARE BORN. Live life and enjoy it, that is what God wants us to do. I guarantee that you won’t live one second longer nor one second shorter than your expiration date that was set BEFORE you were born. When your time comes nobody can save you, you will die then and there regardless of what you are doing. Worrying and living in fear is just a couple of tools that satan uses to take away happiness and attempt to distance people from God. Motorcycles are fun, motorcycles are dangerous, some folks want a bike but are scared to get one, afraid they will get killed. Well if you’re riding one when your time comes then yes you probably will. However, if you’re sitting in your recliner scrolling the pages on Aldeer and your time comes, guess what, you’ll die right then and there. I don’t worry about how or when I’ll die, I’m only concerned with whether or not my name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

The truth lies in the middle. Yes, God is in total control, but it is naive to say when it’s my time to go, it’s my time and there’s nothing I can do to alter that. God gives us wisdom to control our situation. For example, if I have no control over when my death time comes, why wear seat belts? Why go to the doctor, take BP meds or any other maintenance drugs? Why watch our fat intake or cholesterol levels? If it’s true when it’s our time to go, it’s going to happen regardless of what we do. Yes, GOD KNOWS OUR APPOINTED TIME, but that doesnt mean our death is predestined. God has a plan for us all, he doesnt want us to live in fear but he gives us our mind to make decisions with his guidance. I dont live in fear, but anywhere I go; even church, I am “situationally” aware of my surroundings. If I ever get an uneasy feeling about my situation, (regardless if it’s sketchy people, or confined spaces) I will take my wife, kids, grandkids and get out of that situation. I think we are maybe saying the same thing but maybe from different angles.

I'm pro gun all the way but all the guns in world won't save you from the grave. We are all going to die period. There is only one way out of this place and that's through the blood of Jesus.

First of all Autocorrect got me on the word Dagger Palmetto State has the Dagr for $299.00 which means anyone can afford it. I get it when God calls you He always gets through. Col.Cooper spoke of the British colour code of awareness( White your drunk on a beach,Yellow aware of what's around you,Orange possible threat Red guns out shooting commencing.) I live in Yellow it ain't paranoid it's prepared. 2015 Dallas police sent a bomb robot down a long hallway through a wall and used 2 lbs of C4 to chunkify a killer that took out 5 Dallas officers....Five. First thing I do eating at a new place I'll sit to keep my eyes on the front door near the kitchen because kitchens have cover not just concealment. Still waiting to hear a shooting winner complain that they had too much ammo during the fight. Better to have and not need than need very badly and not have. I'm not a religious person or perfect just forgiven by Him. Sheeple are going to sheeple. Organized religion has killed more people than anything else I can think of. Nothing against a strong sermon or fellowship but I want to make sure Dave returns home safely that's why I carry&train cause it's hard to learn new skills in the suck. By the way I have no issues with anyone's replies it's about what I thought I'd get and all of them are valid points I just think being able to see in the dark make fire and 4 spare magazines are good things on you when some dude is mean mugging you.

If your post is candid, you are immature. Grow up.
Either you don’t know what candid means or you used the wrong word in your haste to cast stones. Candid: (adj) US /ˈkæn.dɪd/ honest and telling the truth, especially about something difficult or painful Can·did: /ˈkandəd/ adjective truthful and straightforward; frank.

"GOD KNOWS OUR APPOINTED TIME, but that doesnt mean our death is predestined"
Well said! This is what I believe. It is a very confusing concept for my human brain to understand, at least for me personally, but while God knows our time of death, I also believe that by our actions and prayers, we may have an ability to alter a potential outcome. Then my brain says, if God knows everything then am I really altering the outcome?? I choose to trust my Lord in all things but will attempt to use my God given common sense and abilities when possible. For me this is one of those areas for faith. It is also one of many questions I will have answered when God reveals it to me at my death.

The funny thing about that Jesus business is this.... he's gonna save you AFTER you are dead. Everything that happens beforehand is on you. IF you choose to go rock climbing and fall and kill yourself one might say it was God's plan... I would say you're dumbass needed to learn to tie a better knot.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Yep, dead is dead either way. Choosing to follow Jesus is the only way out. It's not how or when you die its how you live the life that God has chosen to give you. To me whether it's predestined or not is not that important. How or when you die has absolutely nothing to do with where you spend eternity.

It is fact that we are all going to die. It is also true that a gun may save you from an early grave. It could cause you to go to an early grave as well. God may have a plan for you but I don't think that means you have no control over your earthly destiny.
