I have never been much of a crappie fisher, but would love to learn how to catch them on Smith Lake. Anyone willing to give ideas, suggestions, etc...? I appreciate the help and God Bless

We have a place on Smith Lake and that by no means makes me a great source. I will tell you that we do quite well in the back of sloughs that have a little creek running into them. I know that sounds difficult to find but it is not.
Minnows or small jigs around those button bushes.

Pidgeon Roost Creek... Just north of big bridge... Go to the back and fish the willow trees... Alot of good lay downs in this creek.. Also rock creek where the tornado crossed several years ago.. Fish directly south of Wilson Bend...
