....brass. Federal train&defend .45acp uses SMALL primers instead of large like JMB intended. Instead of swapping over primers I used the 550B like an advanced single stage since it has manual indexing and 46 pieces was all I found (Ed the brass hawk will find those other 4 he's the brassfinder supreme.) I did cut back to a start charge of HP38 in these just in case.
Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

I'll take all of that SPP 45acp y'all want to send me.
Keeps me from doing a primer swap on the 550

Keeps me from doing a primer swap on the 550 Agreed. When I get a mess of 45acp, I just pay attention when I’m depriming…and chunk spp brass in a separate box. I do single depriming with the one-hand tool, then install primers with hand primer while im watching old cowboy movies. I rarely do priming while I'm loading.cartridges. No spilled powder, no cussing, just treat spp as a different beast. I’m actually glad they make 45’s with spp. I have more spp than any other primers….and I get to use them on 45’s?!?…WOOO-HOOO!!!

I set them aside, reload when I have a couple of hundred, then use them where I can't recover brass. Let them be someone else’s problem. Smart move.
