Not sure what the problem is Are having trouble getting them out or putting them in or are they backing out when you try to take the grips off ?
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

Over the years I've had problems with all three mentioned. Part of my handgun maintenance sequence is to remove the grips every time I clean the gun and clean and lube the grip screws. they can be a real pain to get out sometimes.

Yeah if you fool with 1911's enough you'll know I’ve “fooled” with more 1911’s than I can remember and have had my share or trouble with that same issue which is why I named off those particular issues

There's a company called challis bushings that makes a great replacement bushings.different design that solve the issues with bushings.to bad they don't use this design on factory guns
