Dang Cuz Pat. I sure am glad you got out of there without someone kicking your dog. You know how many internet bad asses cruise public places just looking for something to complain about.

back when velociraptors still roamed the earth and I was in high school, a couple of us headed to Sumpter Co to the hunting club. We me two more members at the Shell station at the Brookwood Exit on I-20. There were three locals there, wanted to start a fight with one of the guys we met. Real lanky, quiet country boy from Blount Co. They prodded and called him names. He ignored them. Then one of them called him a SOB. He quietly said "you shouldn't oughta talk about my momma like that" and whipped the crap out of all three of them in short order. Beware of the quiet guy you have to prod into a fight.....

My dog hated the clippers but tolerates the grinder.

its better if 2 people do it. 1 holds, 1 cuts. But if you'll set them up on a coffee table, weight bench or even 2 chairs. They tend to do a little better.

Much easier than trimming nails is to take them on a walk down the street. Asphalt/concrete will round them off nicely with minimal effort on your part.

Just finished the toenail clipping. Got the grinder battery charging now. Soon as it gets charged enough, I'm gonna shape them up a little. They look much better.

I'm whooped. She will wear you out with this toenail clipping ordeal.

We live out in the country. Dirt roads, gravel drive, pasture, etc. Not much asphalt or concrete around here to keep them worn down.
