Where do you get it?
I saw TSC has rice bran for horses.
Is that the same?

Our deer wouldn’t touch it. Have friends that say they tear it up. 🤷🏻‍♂️
TSC I know cares it in our area.

Bucks love rice bran.
You got to keep it dry.

Keep it dry. It’s hard to do with those moist mornings but I’ve just poured out small little piles in an area and they tear it up.

My does won't touch it. Bucks seem to like it if you can keep it dry.

its moisture and temp that causes mold. As long as the temps are low its alright. I just put it out when its gonna be cold and dry during the rut. Our rut is late in the season so it works out. Its not great for nutrition. One of the biologist on here described it as eating candy bars, they like it and it'll give them a quick shot of energy.

Alot of folks use covered feeders and claims it works, but IDK how, cause its humid down here more times than naught.

I tried some many years back, the deer barely touched it and it turned into a soggy, moldy clump after a week or so. I wont be trying it again.

Covered trough like feeders.

Or dump it on the ground. I’ve never seen it last too long. But I never used large amounts.

You have to mix it 50/50 with corn then cut the corn back until it’s 100% rice bran

Buy it if you want but it is not magical and if it gets moist it’s done. Much more value in buying corn or triple grip.

I mixed some 50/50 with corn in a gravity feeder after season a couple years ago. It worked well for me that way.

I used it in Pickens County on two separate properties. Deer east of the river would not touch it. It literally piled up under the vibrating feeder. Deer on the west side of the river love it. They stick their head between my legs to get to it. I have no explanation.

Don’t pile it up. Put it in small piles about three cups or so per pile scattered around a 10-15’ area. They absolutely kill it.
