If you watched the Nebraska/ Michigan game, you’ve got to consider JJ McCarthy a contender for the Heisman. He’s completing almost 80% of his passes and is a legitimate threat running the ball. He’s clean cut, articulate and has a girlfriend who is a smoke show. If Michigan wins the Big 10 for the third straight year JJ’s stock as a Heisman finalist will be high.

East Carolina, UNLV, Bowling Green, Rutgers, Nebraska. Those are his opponents so far, doesn't look like the next two are giant killers either. Let's wait and see how he does against Penn State, Maryland and OH St. before he gets an award.

There is a reason you don't hear anything about Michigan or McCarthy, they haven't played a competetive team yet! A bunch of cupcakes. One of the easiest schedules in the country.

In previous years Michigan folds like a bad poker hand in their bowl game cause they don't play a competetive schedule. Playing cupcakes all year hurts you when you go up against good teams that don't roll over.
