Done some work this morning with one and dang it was nice. I never been on a tractor newer than 1965 they have came a long way. I was able to bushog with a cup of sweet tea in my hand, my old ford is broke down and you have to really muscle that thing around no power steering seat that is so bad you may as well be sitting on the rear chunk. I may have to invest in a newer one. I know branson sold to TYM or something like that just not sure if they are any good since they changed

If your norm is a '65 then a bet you where in high cotton. The newer tractor will not out pull that old Ford though. I run around on an '85 JD. I sit on a new tractor and have to figure out how to start it..

The hydrostatic drive took some time to get use to and the power steering was nice, i mow in a old strip pit and the ground sucks but i could sit on that branson all day. My ford 2000 is a 4 cyl gas and you get wore out on it pretty quick wrestling it around and i liked being able to creep around some smaller trees i planted without running over them.

Youd be better off getting a gear drive shuttle shift if you go get one. That hydrostatic is great for what i do with mine but not much else.

I just bought a Branson last year. So far I love it, but I also went from an old Ford gas burner to this one. Power steering, 4wd, and a loader all made a huge difference. It came with a Cummings engine but since they have officially changed over to TYM, they have a different engine and plastic hoods. As for actual quality of the TYM branded ones, I don't know. TYM has owned Branson for a few years now, but just this year switched the brand.

I went with a geared transmission but I was already used to that. You'll get more horsepower out of your horsepower if you do. It's the reason I did.

There's a dealership near here and I have been thinking of one too. I've been to look at them and they look nice. I think they are shipped over here in parts and assembled in Rome, Georgia. There plant is not far from here either.

Yep Korea. One of the youtube channels i'm subscribed to picked up one around spring and they've been really pleased with it so far.

I've had a Branson 2505 for nearly two years and have been well pleased with it.

Im on year 3 with my Branson tractor. Been very happy with it. I broke a lower link pin and bracket (my fault) last fall and had trouble with ordering new parts from the dealership but the problem was the idiot behind the counter ordering the wrong parts multiple times. He's since been fired. I'd definitely purchase again but I'm not sure about their quality since tym purchased Branson.

If you're referring to Mathis Equipment that's who I bought mine from. They have dealerships set up in Leesburg and in Rome. They all seem like really good folks. They were easy to deal with and my first service was less expensive than originally quoted.

I tractor shopped for a long time, considered Branson but no dealerships close to me and worried about holding its resale value. Ended up going with Kubota. Also you couldn’t give me a gear drive tractor after owning a hydrostatic.

You got that right hydrostatic is the greatest option for a tractor in my opinion. Yes it decreases hp, but after owning it for a week I guarantee you won't care
