At $100 a month they will be out of business before long, unless they have a wealthy benefactor. Theyve been open several years. I have a friend whos kids go there. He pays $100/month. I believe theres a discount for the second kid. Im not sure if everyone pays that but he does

All that is a load off bull dodo JW - sorry yall had to go theu all that. Sounds like they “Reaped it” 🤣🤣🤣 and good for them!!🤣🤣 I lov high school football and think the sport can emulate life some - its tuff. But it is changing from the sport i loved. We were undefeated and played a team last nite that should b an A higher than they are. We cant recruit - we a public school - but the rich private school team that just beat us can and does really well. We cant compete with these private schools that recruit. Mobile christian has at least 8 college players on their team. Basically we hav no chance to compete even when we really good. St James is the same way. They use to always be average to suckie until the $ school decided they dont want to be average. Then they all of a sudden got a bunch of dark colored guys that can fly - one of them is commited to sec as qb - many will play college ball. I would rather play normal hard working public school instead of rich private. Several sr were introduced last nite - a sr - he been at mobile christian for 4 years - has played footbal for 4 years. Congrats - u can pay a kid a lot if $$ to come to your school - what an achievement 🤣🤣 Did'nt MC have to forfeit a few games last year for playing ineligible players?I believe their coach is Ronnie Cotrell, former college coach. When the private(not rich) schools pull up to play us(county school) it it seems they always come on charter buses. Our boys always ride the yellow school buses. We might play ya'll in a couple of weeks.

Don't take this as a private school apology, but they prolly don't own a cheese wagon. Prolly cheaper in the long run to charter a bus for the away games. My sons attended a 6a school in north bama. We didn't always ride charters, mainly on the longer runs and then sometimes it was just the upper classman/starters.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

More and more schools are moving from AISA to playing in AHSAA and remain in AISA for academic and administrative purposes. There are basically two types of AISA schools. Those that recruit and give scholarships, or to avoid using that word, they call them sponsorships, and the second are the schools where everyone's parents pay tuition. As you can imagine, you will know which category wins all the championships. The others aren't happy about competing against store bought teams. The kicker is that the teams that buy championships always have parents that don't appreciate paying the tuition for players. When Morgan had average teams but had to play against the store bought ones it came up at a Board meeting one time by a member that perhaps they should buy a few players. That idea got quashed when another member told the one that presented the idea that "you know, if we do that your son's ass will be sitting on the bench, don't you?" I think when the parents at the sponsorship schools realize that they are paying for another kid to play while their son watches from the sidelines it creates problems and dissention in the school. From following AISA for a number of years, I've seen that time and time again. It can get really ugly sometimes.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Private schools don’t usually own yellow buses. Or CDL drivers for yellow buses. I know our insurance started urging some private schools to charter buses instead of allowing coaches to get a CDL and drive regular buses and it’s not that expensive. Especially if you have parents committed to raising money for the program. Yes MC had to forfeit some games because they played a kid on JV that wasn’t eligible. They caught it and self reported it and forfeited the 4 varsity games they had played. AHSAA has since changed that rule and ineligible players can now play on JV. Yes Ronnie Cottrell is their coach. Yes he coached in college in the past.
