Some pretty good sales on Europtics. X2… I have bought too many optics and guns from Europtics over the years and they have excellent customer service, quick to ship, and always offer plenty of excellent deals on the highest of quality optics and guns.

27.5oz and a second focal plane ballistic reticle would be a hard pass for me regardless of price

Meopta was recently bought out. I’m shying away from them until the dust settles with the new owners. They may not even keep the riflescope line 🤷🏼♂️

I e been trying to contact them on some bino repairs and I can’t get a soul on the damn phone. I have quite a bit of money in meostar glass but I might not buy any more.

Try and call Europtic and see if they know what is going on with Meopta. They may be able to help. Every time I have called Europtic in need of help on optics issue that may not even be on an issue directly involving them they have been more than willing to help me.

Need to put some new glass on my sons rifle. Before I buy new was going to put some feelers out to see what some Of you may have used. Looking at all mid to high end options.. Define mid to high end- $$$ What type of hunting? Woods, out to 300 yards or long range?

Trijicon. I've had high end Leupold and Meopta. I now have a Trijicon AccuPoint® 2.5-10x56. For my eyes it is the best yet. That said, everyone's eyes are different, but you should try to look thru one. Especially in low light. I sure like mine and that dot is a game changer as well

500 to 1000.00$. Foodplots 100 to 300 max. Little bit of wood hunting. Plan to make a Texas trip next year.. I would check out Red Hawk Rifles and the Zeiss Conquest V4 scopes. Plenty of good options for under $1000. A 3-12 or 4-16 V4 is a very good scope in that price range.
