With the big warm street cleaning welcome he gave Xi in San Fransisco, the trip over to meet Xi in person in China, the state with the most shipping ports directly to China (that recently cut shipping regulations specifically for China), and the recent news that China is suddenly saying nice things about the US to their people, its is very clear that Newsome will be the next president. Really, he is just becoming the governor of the American territory of China.
