Am I the only one who prefers metric? So much easier.

No, you're not the only one. Almost all communists prefer the metric system.

It is way easier. It's just hard for me to do the math in my head when I'm trying to compare one to the other.

Metric absolutely makes more sense and is easier, with everything being 10's/100's/1000's. All time should be a 24hr clock, too, instead of AM/PM. I much prefer Fahrenheit to Celsius, though........more precise

There are 3 certainties in an uncertain world:

1. All Politicians Are Liars
2. All Gun Laws Are an Infringement
3. Taxation Is Theft

If you work on stuff, you kind of have to be able to discern both. Metric threads and Allen wrenches can be a little aggravating.

I like America being on the Imperial system. Kilometers are too short, and meters are too long. Miles and feet make way more sense.

If you are old, you might remember this ad campaign when the metric mania was going on years ago.

It's the one thing that Jimmy Carter tried to do that I wish he had been successful at.

I agree and while we're at it eliminate daylight savings time.

I've lost way more 10mm than I have 3/8s.

I use both equally and have done so for such a long time that I can convert them in my head without a calculator.

If I'd used it all the time in the Tool & Die biz I'd like it better . I used it just enough to make make me mad. There are some metric threads that have 3 and 4 different thread pitches, not just 2. It was always aggravating to get hold of an odd ball. .
