Even though these aren’t their big starters, these numbers are staggering. It will have a huge affect on their depth…..

Could be the effect of Kirby playing the blame game instead of taking responsibility for the loss like any good coach would do

Every loaded team is seeing this. NIL money and playing time

Not really sure about their roster management. Some of these guys may or may not have been contributors now or in the future. Georgia did think enough of them to offer them a highly coveted scholarship. I think the scholarship max is 85, but I’m not 100% on that number. All kids want money and playing time. The portal may be a great option for some of these kids, but probably not all. I also wonder if Georgia initiated any of these moves. I think the term used to be “processed”. Time will tell.

I believe that will just become the norm. If you sign with a team and don’t het the playing time you think you deserve. The kid will move on. Because a program such as Georgia will have 3-5 more recruits at your position in the next signing class. And odds are if you weren’t good enough to play this year your chances won’t get any better next year.

Something is amiss with Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama both have historically had recruited on the level as Georgia, yet their attrition rate is no where near what Georgia s is. It’s gotta be either Georgia isn’t as good as evaluating talent or the environment is not good. Most of the guys on this list weren’t starters but depth is very important in the SEC…. Kirby’s dynasty may be cracking

Same thing they said about Alabama after they lost to Texas. Kirby is gonna be OK. 1 loss in 3 years is plenty acceptable.

I think they all are trying to figure it out. Ohio State has a good number in the portal as well.
Georgia's big problem is they are taking hits over the lack of players graduating.

Actually; last year it was reported that Bama had lost almost 50% of the previous 4 recruiting classes to various types of attrition. What these situations hurt is depth at second/third team positions.

This is the new college football. Where commitments don’t matter nor loyalty to a program. Me, me, me. It’s a great thing we are teaching these kids. Watch this carry over to other facets, like jobs and loans.

Georgia not showing enough luv to these players. That seems to be what every recruit says, "they showing me the love".

"Kirby's dynasty may be cracking."
He's won 2 championships.
You're tossing around the term "dynasty" awfully loosely.

Carson Beck is returning; rumors are he wanted $2-4 million to not go pro. And, their #1 QB in the country committment flipped to Nebraska. Rumor is he wanted $3 million

Considering what he has been able to accomplish in such a short period of time and considering his age and how much longer he can coach, I would consider this a dynasty in the works. How many times has anyone won back to back, longest winning streak, year after year top recruiting class. He’s not reached Saban status yet but is well on his way. No other college coach is even close to achieving what Smart has in the same time frame.
