Feds want their cut ?

Just like alcohol and tobacco. Sick of smelling it everywhere I go myself. People complained about tobacco smoke and pot is just as bad if not worse.

The banksters want all that pot money moving through their electronic systems but they can't do that because of the Federal laws against weed.
I kinda figured Biden would make this move at a more politically advantageous time and not some random time like now when not many folks are paying attention. Makes me think there is going to be a more aggressive drug legalization move soon.

The weed card was supposed to be a poll number boosting move but now pot heads cant afford weed in the places where its legal. Also, in the places where it is legal, the taxes on it have made it more expensive than the old fashioned way.
The Dems are losing votes because potheads can now easily understand how taxation helps nothing and always makes things worse. I wonder if any marijuana tax money has actually done a single good thing?

Read an article where lots of weed shops are struggling. Was cheaper when the cartel was running it.

It did not take long for smart economists to figure something out which regular people have known forever.
Illegal weed basically has not changed price for over 40 years. Legal weed though has gotten 4 or more times as expensive since it was legalized in those places. What causes it to be that way? The Government.

I wonder if the same folks struggling to afford weed are the same ones on social media crying and whining about not being able to make ends meet?

Where the hell in AL you all going out in public that just constantly smells like weed? I catch a whiff of it from a car or off a person on occasion but it's definitely not the norm. I smell cigarettes, dip and alcohol way more often and I gag every time I get around a heavy cig smoker.

Go to just about any retail establishment or grocery store.......especially Walmart. My wife gets mad at me because I'll always ask about that smell out loud when I encounter it.
I've even smelled it coming from other vehicles while stopped in traffic.

I smell it on people in the curb store, but mostly at the gas pumps when their car door opens. In G’wood one night on the way to camp a young gentleman stepped out of his car and I got a BIG whiff of some top-shelf. I commented about that smelling like some good chit and the guy dummied up like he didn’t have a clue what I was talking about. I repeated it louder and he just gave me a nod and I could see the stifled Cheshire grin. As I was pulling off, watching him in my rear view mirror, he was laughing his azz off.
Next time I was at the same gas pumps it was thick in the air after 3 cars pulled up at the same time…I assume it was the local Sheriff, in plain clothes talking to someone across the parking lot, stopped mid sentence and turned around and yelled “I don’t know which one of you it is, but I’m gonna catch you! Keep on and I’m gonna get you!”

Hell i smelled it (numerous times) coming from cars, going down the interstate at 80mph.

They would come in the gun store stinking. I'd politely take them to the side, explain that LEOs are in here frequently and point out the retired LEOs behind the counter. Tell them I had no problem with it, under the right circumstances would love to join them, but not today and to come back tomorrow. Drunks were different. They always wanted to argue.

It’s absolutely hilarious all the folks bitching about weed smell, and not a peep about the stinking arse tobacco smokers, drinkers, dippers and worst of all the retards who drench themselves in colognes and body sprays. Probably the same folks bitching about the weed. And skinny you are dead wrong about price in legal states, at least Florida. At the time it was legalized top shelf was $400/oz which dropped to $300/oz almost immediately. And using my discounts and watching sales I could get much better quality for quite a bit less after I got my card. Only dam thing I miss about Florida. Going back to the friend of a friend crap sux.

Prices dropped on the street here in Huntsville when it became legal out west.
A whole lot easier to find too. And much better quality.

When I was in Arizona this year, the smoke store has good prices but it was taxed too much

I don't smoke because of my employer but I wish it was legal here and I hope eventually that Alabama goes recreational. At that point, the employers just give in and quit testing for it

I love that Biden is getting it reduced to schedule 3. Id vote for him if he could make it federally legal. That's how bad I miss smoking.
