Solid hunting pattern something in the .675 to .690 range. Every gun and load will produce different results. Start with a very clean barrel. The only way you will know for sure is on paper.

If I were shooting a 12 with 9s , I'd shoot an open choke. 2 oz of 9s , that's a lot of pellets, may as well maximize them. I like 8s in a 12. "Why do you ask"? Do any of you have any experience with colonial chokes? From what I read they are who made the old Star Dot chokes. I cant find a Indian Creek online in anything other than .660 which I believe is too tight. WAR EAGLE!!
