Small TSS shot needs to "breath". Whatever puts 275 +/- 10 or so in a 10" @ 40 yards. No need shooting small shot and bunching it up in a softball size pattern , defeats the purpose .

If I were shooting a 12 with 9s , I'd shoot an open choke. 2 oz of 9s , that's a lot of pellets, may as well maximize them. I like 8s in a 12.

Thanks for the advice.. A normal full choke is .675 or .680 is what I am being told online for my gun. Do any of you have any experience with colonial chokes? From what I read they are who made the old Star Dot chokes. I cant find a Indian Creek online in anything other than .660 which I believe is too tight.

Colonial is right down the road from me. I have used several of his chokes, and all have worked fine. I use a colonial in my favorite turkey gun.

I would research and look into some of Carlson TSS Choke tubes.

I would research and look into some of Carlson TSS Choke tubes. I’ll second that. And the Turlock. Both make really good chokes for TSS and won’t break the bank either.
