The 4 team CFP selection committee was a disaster from its inception. 12 teams may be marginally better but they should go to a fair elimination system that is based on the entire season's results on the field. Those from weak conferences or with poof schedules would get weeded out quickly by way of playoff losses. I’m assuming you mean taking the top two teams from each conference in the country and doing a playoff? Or something similar? Yes, something where they get to the championship game by winning all season and also getting through a playoff bracket system. I think that would hurt the teams in the power 5 and help the teams in group of 5 wouldn’t it? I don’t think anyone would want those teams making it to the playoffs ahead of teams that are much much better than they are.

Hate I didn't get to watch this game! Sounds like Michigan took care of business like they did with Bama. The only known thing, is that Michigan is the best team in the country, every thing else is just woulda, coulda, shoulda the yada yada and coulda shoulda goes like this: If Bama "coulda" beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl, they "woulda" beat Washington with the way they played last night. Penix was off badly. Reminded me of Milroe on the way he was missing some of those wide open receivers. So there ya go! Michigan cheated. They should have to vacate the championship they won on the field. Michigan beat Washington worse than bama, which means the UAT SID will pencil whip another NC for bama in a few years.

I don’t think anyone would want those teams making it to the playoffs ahead of teams that are much much better than they are. Should be conference Champs only, if the power five teams are getting screwed they can change conferences. Think about it ole miss moves to sunbelt, Texas moves to mountain west and so on. Now when they recruit they can tell their players if they win conference they in playoffs, wouldn't be long till all the conferences evened out. Also as a fan all your games mean something and everyone know what they have to do to get in. No more my teams better than your team because we beat southern miss by more than you did or we beat #1 and you only beat #7. Cuts all the bs out. And it ain't like college's ain't changing conference's any way. Won't ever happen because of the $s involved

Man Michigan got away with a bunch of holds in that game on crucial plays. Beginning to think the ncaa is going the way of the NFL. Ididnt have a dog in the fight but it appeared to me Michigan gt away with much more than just holding and Washington got called on some petty calls. But that seems to happen alit from college ball to little league in all sports

Hail to the Victors! Blaming the Washington loss on the refs is weak rationalization.
