I graduated in 87. Trying to watch 80's movies is so hard now. I loved them as a kid, but now they are hard to watch.
Watched Top Gun Maverick. So good..
Watched Top Gun. Cheesy but still ok.
Watched Iron Eagle, my favorite of the 80's. Music is so bad. Acting is horrible. Graphics and technical aspects.. Horrible. I'm confused how I could have ever liked that movie.
We are stupid in our teens.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

We must be the same age, I graduated in 87 a well.
Some eighties movies stand the test of time.
Pale Rider
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Die Hard
Airplane
The Terminator
Bull Durham
IMO, today's movies rely far too much on Computer Generated action.

70’s music sucked for the most part.. That feels like you were trying to rile up the peanut gallery with that one😁. Best decade of music yet, hands down.

Same with most tv shows from back then too. I used to watch a lot of the reruns from the 80’s and finally quit because it started ruining my memories of those times.

I am from the Class of '87 as well.
I loved Bull Durham! I will still watch it if I pass by it playing when I am scrolling through channels.
I had The Princess Bride on VHS.
Have watched Die Hard and Lethal Weapon multiple times.
Back to the Future E. T. Raiders of the Lost Ark Caddyshack Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
But, I have also watched things more recently that I remember watching before and wondering why I thought it was so great the first time.

Trying to watch 80's movies is so hard now Dang, no need to crap on all 80's movies just because Iron Eagle sucks. For the record I thought it sucked back when it first came out. The 80's on the other hand was a great decade for movies. Just to name a few. E.T. Raiders of the Lost Ark Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Platoon Blade Runner The Empire Strikes Back Return of the Jedi The Shining Full Metal Jacket Das Boot The Untouchables The Thing Conan the Barbarian The Terminator Die Hard Raising Arizona The Princess Bride Fast Times at Ridgemont High Scarface A Christmas Story Poltergeist Back to the Future The Right Stuff Bull Durham Hoosiers Ghostbusters Caddyshack The Road Warrior Ferri Bueller's Day Off Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure Coming to America The Outsiders The Karate Kid National Lampoon’s Vacation Weird Science Top Gun Real Genius The Lost Boys Stripes Near Dark Dragonslayer They Live Lethal Weapon Big Trouble in Little China Trading Places 48 Hours Robocop Risky Business The Breakfast Club Planes Trains and Automobiles Predator Airplane Raging Bull Sixteen Candles Crocodile Dundee Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
