My place on murder creek is eat up with buck sign, but it is happing at night with this bright moon. My place on mixonville rd. has been dead as a hammer since before Christmas.

Thanks for the responses. We're in the Belleville area and based on my camera all the activity seems to be at night as well. Hoping that changes this weekend but not too optimistic given the temps/moon. Maybe the cloud coverage will mitigate the nighttime activity. We'll see. Good luck to everyone whose going this weekend - nothing beats a morning/afternoon on a Conecuh County creek in late January.

I am in between evergreen and Andalusia on the sepulga river and it has been slow the last few days. Have seen some young bucks chasing but nothing mature yet. Usually it is pretty hot and heavy by now but maybe I just missed it. I've hunted quite a bit on the south side of 84 there on the Sepulga. Some big ole bucks in that area.

According to the camera activity, I should be there right now.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.
