Was gonna go but was blessed yesterday to kill one so I’m laying off it today. Should be a real good day.

Deer fed all night up until daylight, so not expecting too much.

Deer moving like crazy even saw a 6 pt in the carpool line a d my neighborhood

Saw a bunch on 65 south this morning headed down. More than normal for sure.

Just saw a big spike.

Smaller six just came through.

Slow morning, two doe and two hen turkeys.

Got a good deer on camera now.

Plans totally changed. weather totally changed. got a chance to go.

Slipped out watching the top bench for a mid day sit. second time to sit here all season.

Saw a nice 8pt yesterday on the way in from a morning hunt, was on the edge of a pasture at 1100 am. Gonna go sit for a few hours this afternoon.

Got in tree around 11am. Planning to sit until dark. Beautiful day to be in the woods.

Dang do you guys often see deer in open hardwoods like that? So picturesque. I feel like I have to be in/near thick cover to see anything.

The majority of the areas that I hunt in MS and AL are big open hardwoods like that....have killed some good deer in both places and yes, I see a lot of deer in them.....something about hunting those hardwoods and seeing them cruising thru........

And a lot of trees\limbs to deflect a shot.

Sat this morning and didn’t see anything. Maybe tomorrow my back will feel better and I’ll sit longer for the cold weather.
