Bridge Columns, Bluff Ends, any place creek or river channels intersect or rub against banks/shallower water. Looking at Martin lake, that lake is a deep son of a gun! I personally would look for bluff ends on the down current side and scan them all. Crappie can be found in every water depth there is this time of year, but I would mainly focus on areas that have both shallow and deep water access, close to structure, that requires the least amount of effort for the fish to move up and down in the water column and eat.
On a side note, everything and I mean everything likes to eat crappie, bass included. If you find Crappie, you'll find Bass Too. To the point where those little green bastages will ruin a crappie trip because they'll eat that little 2" Bobby Garland just as readily as crappie will.
I know absolutely ZERO about Martin, but I could spend days investigating this area for crappie.
