I finally got tired of carrying so much crap in the woods to turkey hunt. Generally if it don't fir in a pocket it aint going. List of my stuff
1. Good turkey chair- slings over my shoulder 2. Couple extra shells in pocket 3. Mouth call in mouth. 4. Generally my 2 favorite pot calls in pocket 5. Bottle of water 6. Maybe gobble call 7. Decoy stuffed in my jacket or shirt if hunting field birds.
Thats it. No vest. Any of yall hunt like that? You forgot the most important thing. TP/Baby wipes. lol. I cut down on a lot I carried. I now use a RNG vest and everything I need fits in it fine. No chairs, decoys, any of that stuff. Only thing I want to "carry" is a shotgun. I try and cover a lot of ground so carrying anything else is a pain.

What else would you need? If you cut down to that amount of stuff, I would hate to see what you carried before 😂 Lol , I was picturing the decoy stuffed in his shirt

I do minus the decoys. I got tired of trying to piece it together etc. get you a knight and hale run and gun 2.0 vest and it’s perfect for you/keeping it all together…less cumbersome than the chair though sometimes I’ll carry a chair as well with it

I use a Tom Teaser bag. If I had to wear a vest , I'd prolly just quit.

I wouldn’t turkey hunt without a vest. I like having a cushion to sit on and I ain’t toting around a chair.
You don't have to wear a vest to have a good cushion.

Thats it. No vest. Any of yall hunt like that? I use a vest, but don't carry as much weight as you do without it. My vest weighs only a few ounces without the seat, and I don't use it. I put everything i need in the vest and all I have to do is put it on to go hunting. If I had to look for my shells and calls every trip it wouldn't take me long to start losing stuff.

You wear one around your waist? I might could do that. Like most turkey hunters I’m peculiar about where everything needs to be.
