I don't know that you will get that info from the timber company. You could always post a note in a zip lock bag on the gate to try and get hold of them.

I had a guy hunting public land, on my line. He shot a deer and it immediately ran back on me. He looked up the paper company from HuntStand and called them. They gave him my contact info and he called me for permission to look. That's great that it worked out in your case, and I hope he found his deer, but there's potential for the process of connecting those dots to break down. An arrangement ahead of time with phone #s exchanged would almost always be better, and this thread reminds me that I need to get a contact for a possible future situation like this. I think I'll try the note on the gate thingy for now and then contact the timber company if that doesn't get a response.

Or come out early one afternoon when you know they are in there and wait for them at the gate and introduce yourself.

One of the first things we did was to meet with all our neighbors and got all that worked out. We are very fortunate to have great neighbors and we all get along great.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.
