Me and Travis had the chance to speak at and to the local tech school kids today. The day was broke into 2 sessions. The morning had about 250 kids, the evening was about 300 kids. We highlighted on our experience while attending the tech school and how it was able to aid us along our career paths, catapulting us into certain opportunities and eventually the start and building of our own company. The foundation that I’ve built my skill set on was formed on my day 1 at this tech school and I’ve always been grateful for that. Even More so as I’ve gotten older, wiser and have ample time to recollect on the blessings I’ve received over the years. I’m glad to have reached a point where we can start giving back to the community that built us. This is actually a brand new facility that opened this year, and boy, It’ll rival any high school technical institute in this state, and probably across the country - I attended the “old” tech school across the street.

Awesome. It's always great to get people to come back and share with students on the success that can be garnered from a trade. I am blessed to be over the Diesel tech program that i took in 97. What I learned in trade school set me on a Great path that has been good to me and my family. Again, thank you both for taking the time to share with them!!!

Daggum I didn’t know we had a fellow ALDEER members teaching there, would have enjoyed meeting you. Make sure Kendall gives you one of the hats we left in his class!

The diesel tech program has always interested me. I’ve never worked on diesel equipment and only been around it here and there. They had a few diesel generator techs at the data center and I hung around them and Learned a little. Got to see them working on some monster Diesel CAT generators. Them things were pretty cool!

Maybe he’ll chime back in, but I read it as he may just mean he’s over the diesel tech program at a school he went to, not this one. But if I’m wrong I’ll definitely have to come back by to shake a hand. I think there’s a Dean over the current program.

That’s awesome and congratulations to you two brothers. There are some really nice high school tech schools in our state. Jackson county definitely needed an upgrade.

I worked on that building and you are right it is the best around and probably the southeast. It's really nice and all the trades they offer is awesome
