I've seen this before but, its been a long time and not this bad. One toe was gone, legs were whiter than normal and bird was healthy. Weighed a shade over 19 pounds, gobbled over 85 times, strutted, drummed, etc. Area has a creek but plenty of dry ridges. Beard was around 9 inches but had some beard rot. He was the dominant bird as the other 2 shut up when he started.

Looks like footpad dermatitis. Someone that knows more than me should be able to let you know something.

Is it safe to eat a bird with bumblefoot?
If there is a localized problem on an animal and it is not causing systemic infection/problems. Then often they can be eaten. However you will have to determine that when and if you butcher. Often antibiotics may need to be given for 7-14 days or longer to address infection.
