Yeah and they're starting to have a slough of troubles (so ive been hearing and reading) so there goes that YOTA reliability 😏

If I was going to get an all-wheel drive SUV with a turbo 4 cylinder this is what I would get... And it starts a $30k, exactly about half of what Toyota wants for that 55 gallon drum of ugly.

Weren't those 4th gen with V8s , full time 4 wheel drive? There was something goofy about them I think.

Yes I believe the 4th Gen with the 4.7 was full time 4wd. That engine has been used in a lot of other stuff too though. Landcruisers, Sequoias, Tundras and various Lexus models

Engine is bullet proof . I've never been a fan of full time 4WD though.

I've owned a 1994 2nd generation and a 2003 V8 4th generation, each for about 9 years. I'd love to have the 2nd gen back, but I wasn't sold on the 4th generation--the brake system was anything but bulletproof, and when it started having problems, it was an expensive fix.

Toyota needs to fire their design guys, their over styled, futuristic designs are simply not attractive to American buyers. They need to adopt a more traditional look imo. The old tacos and 4runners were badass. I haven't considered a Toyota in years just because of the looks.

Yes, just like Land Cruisers and Lexus GX460’s. I think it’s great.

Amen on the Tundra! I saw a new one up close, for the first time, in a parking lot a few months back and was shocked at how ugly the whole front end is.

Last few years they've all damn near looked similar to me 🤷🏾‍♂️

Well... I like it. Wait and see how the small liter turbos hold up. But it looks more like the early model 4 runners which I am a fan of.

I have a 4 cylinder turbo in my new GMC sierra work truck. Plenty of power and torque. Better mileage than the 5.3 v8. We will see how it holds up.

$60k really doesn't sound bad compared to the GMC and Chevy tahoes. Their 24 models start at $56k

I know yall think I'm weird but I don't see the issue with it.
