Footers? Any block work required? Plain mono slab on grade? Dirt work or fill required prior to pour? Steel, wire, fiber? Jbolts?. Need more info to tell if it is reasonable our not. First thing I'd do is get them to break the quote between materials and labor.
For reference, here's what I would be charged: #4 rebar is $12/stk #5 is $18/stk. Footer labor $4.50/LF. $2/block on mtl and $2-$2.50/block to lay. $2/SF for place and finish labor. Concrete with taxes and fees is going to run you $145 to $175/yd depending on what part of the state you're in. All the labor prices are sub-contractor prices so they already include profit for the sub-contractor in those numbers. Once again, pricing on all above varies, depending on where you are located.
If it's just a plain jane mono slab on grade with turndown footers (no steel), on an already prepped flat grade and pad, you'll have 14 - 14.5 yds of concrete depending on how well he holds his 4" across the entire slab and footer depth and width. Figure a couple hundred bucks in form boards and bracing and then the labor. The sub-contractor's price to a GC (with the GC providing the raw materials) to have it completed as described would be $4,727 at $155/yd on the concrete. If he's at $540 a yard and uses 14.5 yds his final price will be $7830 so he'd be making about $3000 more than what he'd charge someone "in the business" to do it. Hope this helps and remember, all of the above is assuming you've got similar labor and materials pricing and availability in your area. He who has the gold makes the rules and if you're super rural and he's the only game in town, he names his price and you can take it or leave it. Lastly, this assumes that the mud can be tail-gated off the truck. If you have to bring in a pump truck, add around $600 to the cost to complete. You also need to remember that a 30x30 mono slab, for someone that is set up for pouring big stuff, is a nuisance job, and he's going to charge more just for the mobilization cost to show up and do it. You'll probably be better off finding someone that knows concrete and is running a small business with a couple employees or doing it on the weekends on the side.

I just had 7 yards poured and the bobcat work to prepare the area for $1800 total That was for 18x20 which was 5 yards plus 2 yards to tie it into my existing driveway If that included everything, grade work, forming , mud and finishing , that's a great deal!
