Do people really need a SxS?. Absolutely. I couldnāt do what I do with anything else. Especially for spraying and a water rig for burning.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...

A SxS will go places a truck never will solely because of the weight. You would constantly stay stuck trying to work off of a truck in muddy places year around. Just the facts

I know lots of farmers who drive their SxS more than a vehicle during a normal work week. Poultry and cattle and hay.. I have a friend who has his equipped with blinkers and radials⦠People drive them everywhere where I live. Kids even drive them to school. Sometimes the bars and restaurants have more sxs than cars. People in them all over the plave. It has gotten out of control. The rule was originally only on county roads or state highways within 5 miles of residence. But, nobody enforces the rules, so people just drive them all over. It is like Peachtree City for SXSs. Basically, they are treated like farm equipment. No taxes, licensing, or insurance requirements. Folks have $5000 cars and $30k sxs all over the county. Surprised there arent more deaths.

I love the Polaris Rangers. I read all the comments downing them and why Kawasaki, Kubota, Honda, etc., are better, but i was on my yesterday afternoon and thought about how good it has been. It's a 2013 900. All I've done is change the oil and filters and changed the belt one time. It is used every day just to check the place, to load feeders, spray, pull a spreader or a Firminator. I can't see there being a better combination of sport and utility.

Ive said this before, but the only bad thing about the pioneer is that the fender design causes everything to be covered in mud. If you dont have to drive in mud then they are great. I added fender flares to all of mine. Cuts that down a lot.

The only issue I have with my Honda 700 is that on cold mornings if you crank and go the top speed is only about 5mph till it warms up and then it's fine.. It's almost time for the 600 mile maintenance and I'll talk to Honda about this.. Does anybody else have this problem? I have the Honda 700 and I have experience this before. Same as you, on really cold mornings. I thought I had a transmission problem but it seems to be just that cold morning.

There are many Pioneer 700 owners that say it likes being over filled slightly with oil. They usually fill it to half way between the full mark and where the dip stick changes from flat to round. I'm not sure if that helps your issue or not. And many swear that switching to Amsoil has made a noticeable difference.
