Everywhere I go now people have their dogs in stores with them - Lowes, Walmark, K-Rogers, etc. They are dumb assholes. Seen these dogs piss and crap in the stores and the owners just walk off and leave the mess for someone else to clean it up. Today at Rural King in Hsv a couple real geniuses there had a rottwieller and the other had a pitbull that was acting aggressive. Wonder how long until some innocent person (or child) get mauled by one of these idiots dogs. When they do I HOPE that the store that allowed the dog in gets sued out of existence! Rant over.

Yep it's out of control no doubt, I saw another dog in a stroller today and my first ever dog water bottle with a bowl on one end and people trying to force their dog to drink water. The more I am around the more I realize I am likely the oddity that thinks all this is as stupid as anything I have ever seen and everyone else thinks these are great ideas.

There was a dude with a pet possum in the Enterprise Walmart a few days ago. I didn't think anything of it. and that kinda says something don't it?

In college I had a guy that would bring his pet racoon in the store with him where I worked. We looked forward to it though because he was a cool little coon.

It’s every body’s security blanket now days. I see so many people now out in hiking trails and it seems they all have big dogs like German shepherds etc. I think lots of these folks are just damn scared to be outside the home by themselves. I can see it to an extent maybe with the way the country is heading. But at least train Fido nefire you take him out. Nothing aggravated me more than people that can’t take the time to train their dogs with just the basic obedience training. 😬

I take both of my Boston's with me when I go to Lowes. They love to ride in my truck as well as the shopping cart. Its just what I do.

Worst I ever saw was a couple months ago I saw a dog in longhorn at a table right next to our booth. All I could think was damn.

I occasionally take my 5 year old Mal to Pet Supply or Tractor Supply to get dog food. He heels right by my side the whole time I am in the store. I am careful of other folks as a lot of folks are scared of big dogs. I do not allow petting him. He does go into the local water board to pay my bill as the girls there really like him and vice versa (they give him treats).

I did not see the fecal matter leave the dogs anal chamber, but I happened upon a fresh stool in Lowes in Alabaster one time. By fresh I mean it was recently greased out and stinky.

Many think their pets have separation anxiety and can't be left alone. We have a lap dog dachshund that has to be with a person in the house. She is fine in her bed when we leave and no way in hell I am taking her to a store.

I've seen a nasty old man crap his pants and shake the turd out his pants leg in a store.

I had a buddy in high school that had a pet coon. When we’d go cruising (early 80’s) - that coon would ride on the driver’s side mirror. That coon got him more “rides” than you can imagine.
