I have a couple metal drums with tight sealing lids, would putting the seed bags in there and closing it up preserve the seed? It will be under my barn also, but I'm concerned about condensation.

hammerhead Booner Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 12,192 Saraland, Alabama	Condensation in the drum will be an issue. It will collect a couple inches of condensation in no time. Gonna take alot of silica gel to absorb that much moisture and will have to be replaced often

Squadron77 10 point S Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 2,507 Highland Home, Al	Get you some 5gal Mylar bags and use the oxygen absorbers and you will not have a problem. This is what preppers use to store food for long term. The oxygen absorbers will vacuum seal the bags.
