Simple answer. If you have a strong family history, other co-morbidities high blood pressure, diabetes, PVD. You would be an absolute fool not to take a statin. Don’t listen to a bunch of conspiracy theory dumbass’s. Take charge of your own health and research the thousands of articles written about plaque stabilization and lesion regression. This is not a Covid vaccine. This has been studied for decades.

Do you routinely exercise lift weights, do cardio and eat right?
Honestly, have you made changes to diet and lifestyle?
If not start there and see if you can bring it down naturally through a proper diet and exercise.
But if you are predisposed to having hereditary high cholesterol medication might be hard to avoid.

My cholesterol levels have never been really high but borderline for someone with my health issues. Doc put me on a statin several years ago to be cautious and I've suffered no ill effects.

If your doctor prescribes them but you don’t trust his opinion, you need to find another doctor, whether it be statins or the Covid vaccine. Having a doctor that you don’t trust is foolish.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Every man on both sides of my family had or has heart disease. I had 2 heart attacks 11 years ago, had 6 stents, and my cardiologist put me on on a statin. If there were any side effects, I haven't noticed them. My Dr said that even if they caused side effects, he didn't think anyone had ever died because of taking a statin. Millions die every year from heart disease.
Most everything we do in life involves risk/reward. There are risks to most medical treatments, but there are usually greater risks to letting a disease go untreated. These numbers are made up, but if there is a 1% chance of serious side effects from a statin, and a 10% chance of dying from heart disease if you don't take it, it should be an easy choice to take it.
It seems to me that in the last few years many think they should avoid every medical treatment that has risk. They often ignore the much greater risk of the disease.

I could not take the after a heart attack Made me hurt all over especially in my legs and made me get winded easily Guys there is no such thing a “Bad” cholesterol LDL gets a bad name because it oxidizes quicker and easier than HDL and this oxidation is what causes plaque build up in arteries Inflammation and stress are the main causes for LDL oxidation and a change in diet and a increase in your prayer life will work wonders on both If you multiply your HDL by 3 and it is equal to or above you LDL number then you are fine and if not then a simple change in diet will help LDL does serve for several vital functions in your body
My last bloodwork had my HDL at 40 and my LDL at 120 and that’s eating a mostly carnivore diet and losing 20lbs
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

I had this very talk with my doc yesterday. I had stopped taking mine for a while mainly just from listening to friends and people like my Aldeer brothers. Cholesterol was slightly elevated but ok.He strongly suggested that I resume taking them and told me that the biggest downside is in higher doses they can effect your liver. In some people they can cause muscle pain. He says that the positives far outweigh the negatives. There main use is to reduce plaque in your veins. He convinced me to give them another try.

Plaque is cause by metabolization of a strange form of D3 in Nightshade vegetables that cause calcium deposits in soft tissues. Night shade vegetables on a rotational diet don’t cause too many problems and actually have some beneficial properties. Problem is they have become filler foods eatin by many folk at every meal everyday. This metabolism is especially prevalent in people’s of Scottish or Irish decent
You’ll only get this info here
My HDL is substantially higher than my LDL. I flipped it by eating eggs and taking Avocado oil everyday, and boneless skinless sardines in water 3 times per week.
The body needs cholesterol
Y’all keep drinking city water too…Its good for you 🤣😂🤣😂
3 C’s, Cigarettes, City water, Conecuh Sausage 🤣😂🤣😂

My dads dad died of heart disease when he was in his 50’s. My dad is 82 and on 6-7 different blood pressure meds. He will tell you flat out, it’s the only reason he’s still alive.

The other benifit may be better than lowering cholesterol. Statins are great at lowering inflammation. Even if you have normal cholesterol some people would benifit.
