Was going to put this in the gear section, but might get better response here. I’m looking for a set of ear muff/noise cancelling headphones to use on my tractor. Something I can connect to my phone to listen to music while bush hoggin and such. I don’t need to be able to talk on the phone, just listen. I have air pods, but I won’t be able to keep them in my ears. I’m looking for something in a muff style. Could even just pick up radio frequency. Not looking to break the bank. Thanks

I have a set of these and love them. They don't advertise as noise cancelling but I have used them on the zero turn/weedeater and haven't heard anything but the music I'm playing. Really long battery life and would easily last all day on a tractor. I've had them for 4 years now with no issues.

I got some 3M headphones at Home Depot a few years back. They have been great and hold a charge for a good bit. Can’t remember the last time I had to plug them up. There may be a cheaper option but I can’t complain about them.

Mash here

I use these but remember paying maybe $50.00 for them a few years back. We have a great local fm station to listen to so that helps. Makes the time fly by when mowing.

I have been using Elgin Rumble’s but they have been giving me problems on the left ear. Just this evening ordered some ISOtunes and am going to give them a try. Both have a Noise Reduction Rating.

It may not be good for my hearing but I love the sounds of the bush hog and you can hear if something gets in a bind.

This is my thinking. I thought I would give it a try, but I do like hearing what the tractor is doing.

If I am doing routine bush hogging over ground I know I wear headphones. If I am using in unknown or overgrown areas then I like to hear what's going on around me.

Elgin ear plugs here. They don't last forever and are a little pricey but they are the best option I have found. There may be others they are just ear plugs with a speaker in them nothing crazy but you can actually hear your music they will turn up. A lot of the units that are similar won't turn up loud if they are designed for work it's probably an OSHA thing with the decibels. Think about that.

Muffs are too hot for me.
