I've grilled em and fried em. Anybody know of any cool, different recipes they would like to share?

It is hard to beat fried with some good batter on them. I like them on skewers with o.ion, bell peppers, squash, zuccini, and mushrooms pretty good too.

Hard to beat fried, I would save my chicken for any unique recipes. Too easy to over cook turkey.

We put some in Italian dressing last year and cooked on the grill and it was great. Just do not over cook.

Cut into good size nuggets and cover in cajun shake. Put in a ziplock bag overnight. Wrap with a small piece of bacon and grill till done.

Put on a helmet before eating so your tongue doesn't beat your forehead in.

I plan to use Bad Byrons on the next batch. I know they will be good too.

Hammer it out thin, next put a layer of sausage, roll it up and then wrap with bacon. Grill until the sausage is done. Slice across and serve as piwheels.

If you're gonna fry it, try soaking it overnight in buttermilk beforehand. Makes it perfect.

Turkey Poppers, cut into strips marinate over night in Itallian Dressing, take a cube of pepper jack cheese and a jalapeno pepper ring, roll up in the turkey strip and wrap with bacon secure with a toothpick, grill over medium heat until bacon is done.

If my life was any better i'd have to hire someone to help me enjoy it!

I cut the Easter turkey breast into strips, marinated overnight in Budweiser,Dales, and Worchester sauce. Battered in brown sugar and seasoned salt. Wrap in bacon and cook over coals. Everybody loved it.

I did just what you said, except for I soaked it a brine overnight, then put the shake on and let it sit for 4 hours, then wrapped with bacon. It's on the grill now along with some chicken breasts (my wife won't eat any wild game). will let you know how it turned out.

If you hurry you might get a couple of pieces, but you better come on! I have tried wild turkey smoked, fried, baked, but that right there was better than any of the other. My wife even ate three pieces, so you know it was good! Thanks 3toe for the idea. thumbup

I cooked some last night on my Cajun Fryer, soaked in Buttermilk for 5 hours, then covered with Cajun Southern Flavor, rolled in flour and then into the grease! After a couple swigs of a Bud Light they were ready to go!

I also inject it with creole butter, cover with tony's, and then smoke it on the smoker using peices of Jack daniels barrel heads for smoke.

I've been doing something kinda like this and it is delicious.......

Hammer it out real thin like toothdoc said, then cover with a layer of cream cheese. I then add a little garlic and seasoning, a bunch of diced-up tomatoes and little pieces of mozzarella or pepperjack cheese, and finally a layer of baby spinach on top. Roll them up and wrap in some bacon and then smoke them at 350 for about 35-40 minutes. I've always said any technique other than frying was a sin, but this recipe is making me re-think things.
