Yep but the plus side is the time we get to spend in the woods making things better. The ones I hate are the guys who don’t do anything but have plenty of suggestions
take your kids hunting and you won't be hunting your kids

Also add I get real happy driving down roads to mow-disk-plant and get slapped in the face by limbs. Before I had a reliable tractor to use on club land I made sure no limbs would touch a tractor. One member said "well I dont even own a saw". I said hell use mine. Still never showed up. Ready to claim I sold mine. I do enjoy doing it but on 2 clubs I have bush-hogged every field this year. Its becoming too much.
Its not the will to win but the will to prepare to win!

You don't have near as many of these problems with equipment rated 100+ Horsepower. I don't tear stuff up like this anymore.
I can tear a 5ft bush hog up in about 20 minutes. I don't know why y'all fool around with stuff like that.
I rode up in some vines a week or so ago and where it got thick in some kudzu I stopped for a second just to let the material under the cutter deck chop a little.... and I think it sucked all the vines off the trees and ground for 20 yards around the machine. That was cool. Saved me some pruning. Rode on.
I don't know what you can do with a 35-40hp tractor but it isn't much and dam sure ain't quick. My lawnmower is almost 30hp.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

My lawnmower is almost 30hp. 2 reasons, 1) any 100hp+ tractor is close to if not over $100K new and 2) you ain’t hauling a 100hp+ tractor around very much with ordinary truck and trailer (legally anyway without a farm). Most of us are not “farmers” so dropping $100K on a tractor to food plot with is not feasible. Sure, it would damn sure be nice but is out of the realm of possibility for 95% of hunters.

Not to mention, equipment that size won’t fit down most hunting club roads. I’m running a 65hp cab and it’s almost too big in several areas.
