Glad to see Jamey Johnson is no longer the self proclaimed biggest star in country music. He is on NBC and looks to have lost a ton of weight.

He put on a heck if a concert when I saw him back around 2010. Hope he makes it back to producing hits again. His Lonesome Song album is still one of the better ones from start to finish Ive ever heard.

What are some of the best albums you guys can think of start to funish that arent greatest hits? Some with better songs but from start to finish here a a few to start.

Lonesome song-Jamey Johnson
Adobe Sessions- Cody Jinks
Traveller- Chris Stapleton
Pressure is on or Hank jr live-Hank Jr
Aint Nothin to it- Cody Johnson
Wild and Blue-John anderson
Killin Time-Clint Black
Coast is Clear- Tracy Lawrence
Under the Influence-Alan Jackson
Wide Open-Jason Aldean

Haven’t thought about that in a long time, but will say I like about anything Chris Stapleton sings

Hanks high notes, but yeah Jamey Johnson’s album was groundbreaking for it’s crystal clear dry sound, it’s a shame he uses so much reverb when playing live

Abbey Road and Dark Side of the Moon are my two favorites. Both are incredible, start-to-finish. Side 2 of Abbey Road, specifically, may be the single most perfect musical composition ever recorded

Ol’ Waylon - Waylon Jennings was the first country album that I ever bought and the love for real country music for me started there. He covers Neil Diamond, Buddy Holley and Elvis songs with the Waylon sound. Awesome album and it was the number one selling album in 1977 for 13 weeks.

Close the thread. lol

I think I would be labeled as someone who like Country Music #1. But I can't think of many top to bottom albums. Certainly Alan Jackson's first Album needs a mention but most Country Albums have some songs I don't care for. That's just me.

Gun N Roses - Appetite for Destruction.
AC/DC - Back in Black
Beastie Boys - License To Ill
Kid Rock - Devil Without a Cause
No 2 Live Dinner - Robert Earl Keen
Hank Jr. - Rowdy is probably my favorite. Knew I liked it when I saw the cover.
Sublime - 40oz to Freedom
Space Wrangler - Widespread Panic
Rage Against the Machine
All Pink Floyd's Albums
Throw a Zeppelin or 2 in as well.

I think “High Notes” was Hanks best album
Randy Travis’s first album “Always & Forever”
Kiss “smashes thrashes and hits”
AC/DC “back in black”
Poison “open up and say ahh”
There’s so many but my #1 most played cd was…
Def leopard “hysteria” front to back buddy..
